This Sunday the Swans were asked to attend a presentation at the Mudeford Working Mens Club to receive a cheque being donated towards kit and training equipment.
The presentation was attended by Richard Jordan, Rob Baughan and Bob Luckwell and the MWMC donated a very generous cheque for £1000 to the Swans. This was the highest donation by the MWMC with three other organisations all receiving very generous donations, these included the RNLI at Mudeford, the Mudeford Cricket Club and Operation Christmas Child a local organisation that supports orphaned children in foreign countries through the shoe box appeal.
These very grateful donations were collected by the club with members digging deep and donating money over the christmas period, donating back into the local community and organisations.
The club would like to thank The Mudeford Working Mens club and all their members for this very generous donation, the money donated will be used towards new training equipment, kit and coaching courses to help develop the club, this will be decided by the committee and coach’s over the next few months.
