Hi all welcome back, hope you all enjoyed your rest over the past few weeks and that you’re all ready for the pre season training for the start of the 2007/08 season.
We have already had two training sessions and it has been great to see so many children all so enthusiastic and happy and enjoying themselves.
The new season should be an exciting one with all the teams playing in leagues including the new U7’s who will now be playing in the local friendly league.
Training is as normal over the following weeks the only change the U6’s & U7’s now starting at 10:30 along with the U8’s & 9’s ( don’t forget that the U11’s now train at 9:00 ). Training will still be at the Somerford Primary School.
Any friendlies will be organised by your team coaches so please make sure that you keep in touch with them.
Something new for this year will be any Cancellations, rained off matches or rained of training sessions will be posted on the website at least an hour before they are due to start, so please check it before travelling or ring your team coach ( numbers are on the Teams page of the website ).
Anybody over the age of 14 (this includes parents & grandparents) that are interested in doing a referees course funded by the club, please contact Richard Jordan 07771955136 for more information.
Any outstanding reistration fees or documents could you make sure that they are handed in to your team coach or sent to the club secretary please.
We now have a new page on the website ‘Donated Kit’, as a club we are always getting football boots and other kit donated to us. Football boots are very expensive to buy especially as our children grow so quickly meaning that you may have to buy more than one pair through the season. Before you rushout and buy little Johnny a new pair of boots please visit this new page and if you see anything of interest then please ring Jackie on 01202 388783. There is no charge for these boots or any ither kit.
If you have kit to donate then please call Jackie on the same number.
Over the next few weeks the Website will be updated with match fixtures and other relevant information for the new season so please keep visiting it. Newsletters will resume from this weekend and will be availlable at training.
