Hi all hope you are enjoying the end of season break, just to let you all know that for next season we have had accepted into the BYFL the following teams:
U8’s
U9’s
U10’s
U12’s
U14’s
U16’s

Our Under 7’s team will probably enter the local Bernie Stanley friendly league as we have done for the past 3 seasons this will depend on which teams have been entered and the amount of travel involved. If not we will organise friendlies with other local teams where there has been a lot of interest

We will also continue to develop our U5’s & U6’s with friendlies (non competitive) games being organised through the season.

This year the FA have decided that the U8’s will be non competitive, this is the same for all teams at this age group in any youth football leagues, The FA may consider making other mini soccer age groups the same for next year, crazy I know but this will be a rule we will have to adhere to, other wise we could lose our FA affiliation.

Good news for the club is that next season will see two new age groups for the club being accepted into the BYFL the U12’s & U16’s, this adds to the strength of the club where we will have 9 teams playing football next season.

A REMINDER!!! we need to have all children signed to the club for them to be able to play next season, anybody still requiring registration forms please contact either your team coach or contact Richard on 07771955136 or Karen on 07801967234, any outstanding forms and registration fees can be sent to Karen Derham our club secretary at 146 Mudeford Lane, Mudeford, Christchurch, Dorset, BH23 3HS.

BYFL REGISTRATION FORMS - For those of you that have filled in these forms please can we have them back ASAP, anybody that has not filled one of these forms (blue for mini soccer & yellow for Youth football) these are available from your team coaches or you can ring Richard or Karen on the numbers above. All BYFL forms need to be back ASAP and at the latest mid JULY in order for your team to be able to play next season, min of 7 for mini soccer teams and 11 for youth teams, IF WE DO NOT GET THE MINIMUM NUMBERS BACK FOR EACH TEAM, THE TEAM WILL NOT BE PLAYING NEXT SEASON!!!

With so many teams playing next season we are looking for volunteer match officials to help on match days, referees for the mini soccer teams and referees and linesmen for the youth football. Anybody that would like to volunteer their time then the club would be very grateful and would assist with courses and pay for CRB checks (another FA ruling for next season). If anybody would like to earn some cash for officiating any matches then please contact Richard on 07771955136.

Good Luck to all the teams playing in tournaments over the next few weeks, please remember that tournaments although competitive are about taking part and enjoying the occasion, please also remember that you are representing the club and any bad behavior will reflect on the club which could mean we will not be invited back next season, PARENTS THIS ALSO APPLIES TO YOU AS WELL, if you are unhappy with any decisions by officials then complaints should be taken through your team coach not direct.
