Training takes place every Saturday morning at Somerford Primary School between 9am and noon.

If you are new to football or if you’ve been playing for a while or if you’re thinking of joining a team and you want to see what it’s all about. You can either come along to one of our training sessions or contact the club secretary or team managers (contact numbers are in the Committee & Team Tabs) where you’ll be assured of a warm and friendly welcome where we concentrate on you enjoying and learning the great game of football. All age groups are welcome both boys and girls.

All children attending training must wear appropriate training clothes and must wear shin pads at all times, astro trainers must be worn through the summer months and studs must be worn through the winter months. Children who turn up with inappropriate training kit on will not be allowed to train, if you are unsure please ask your coaches.

Children must bring a drink to training this is crucial during the warmer months of the year

There is a £2 training fee that must be paid before training starts before each training session. (1st training session is free)
All parents must inform the coaches if leaving children at training sessions and if there is a change of person collecting their child, children will not be allowed to leave after training until collected.

Current training times are;

Under 11’s- 15’s - 9am - 10:30am

Under 6’s- 10’s - 10.30am - noon

TO AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT, OVER THE NEXT FEW MONTHS PLEASE CONTACT YOUR COACH TO MAKE SURE THAT TRAINING IS ON AT LEAST ONE HOUR BEFORE TRAINING STARTS.
